Hi! Living here in the US I found out that many people live alone. They have a good size of house and property but the thing is they live alone. I also notice that many of them don't want to go to any assisted house, condo or foster home. Even if they are already old and sometimes they are not able to do any household chores they still opted to live in their homes. I think for me living in your own home is nicer, the memories are there, you can do anything but the thing is if something happen to you nobody is there to assist you. That is what happened to my BIL mother, despite of her diabetic illness, her heart failure and some physical malfunctions she wanted to live in her house. You see she can't even get up to fix anything. I just wonder how she manages to go to the bathroom. Anyway, last week she fell down luckily her one kind pushed her to use a
Medical Alert because her son knew so many sad stories that some old people found out after how many days dead lay on the floor. So last week because of what her son gave to her she was saving. Now her kids are talking to where she is going to live with but she is still stubborn in spite of the accident she had. Whew old people sometimes they are more stubborn than anybody. Thanks.
